Being invited to Meta’s networking event was one of the best things to happen to me this year and this is how it turned out.

Running a business is never easy and I like to treat this blog as a diary of sorts to explain that it really isn’t just running ads and making things.
When I was asked to be part of The Leader’s Network, I was comparing it to a typical facebook group, you show up and hope you recieve some value.
However, this facebook group is run by Meta and the connections I made were already great. I missed Gather last year because my membership was still being approved. I had no idea of its scope.
So I signed up to attend virtually since only 500 out of our group of 7K will be invited. I was thrilled to have been chosen to attend in person!
All expense paid trip to DC and a massive network party!! I meet so many people and I hope that these turn to life long friendships.
